After ending its iconic 140-character limit and giving nearly everyone 280 characters, Twitter has now expanded the maximum number of characters you can use in your display name.
The original 20 character limit has increased by more than double, to a total of 50 characters.
Now users with longer names will not have to struggle for abbreviations for their Twitter profile and can also make room for all seasonal-themed display names.
