India’s E-commerce Giant Flipkart Has Confirmed The Launch Oppo K1 In The Indian Market And Has Even Created A Dedicated Microsite.
India’s e-commerce giant Flipkart has confirmed the launch Oppo K1 in the Indian market and has even created a dedicated microsite. However, the smartphone has been launched in the global market and the Oppo K1 will be unveiled in the Indian market on February 6 at 12 noon. The main attraction of the handset is its ‘In-Display’ fingerprint sensor which will enable the user to unlock the smartphone with a touch of finger.
Oppo K1 comes with a 6.4-inch FHD display with a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels with 19:5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Processor clocked up to 2.2GHz and coupled with 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM variant options. However, the internal storage in both RAM variants will be 64GB which can be further extended to 256GB via MicroSD card.
The price of the upcoming handset is yet to be revealed but looking at its price in the Chinese market which is CNY 1,599 (Rs 17,000 approx.) for the 4GB variant and CNY 1,799 (Rs 19,000 approx.) for the 6GB variant, it is expected to remain below Rs 20,000 in the Indian market as well.

In the Chinese market, Oppo K1 is available in two colour options including Mocha Red and Van Gogh Blue.
On optics front, Oppo K1 sports a dual camera setup at the back with 16 MP + 2 MP camera lens along with a LED flash. In the front, it has a 25-megapixel camera lens for capturing beautiful selfies.
Other connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi i 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and GLONASS. The Oppo K1 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo on top of ColorOS 5.2 and is fuelled by a 3600mAh battery.
