Recently, Facebook was under the scanner that they are violating people's privacy by selling user data to third parties. Now, as per a recent report, it has been reported that some of the popular apps are still transmitting user data to Facebook without asking for permission.
According to a study by Privacy International, apps including MyFitnessPal, TripAdvisor and Skyscanner, Kayak and few others are sending user data to social networking website without any permission.
It includes analystics data that send on launch which consists of unique Android ID and also include data that sends later. There are about 20 popular apps out of 34 apps which are traced to have been transmitting information.

For instance, travel search engine Kayak sends detailed information about people's flight searches on Facebook like departure city, airport, date, arrival city, airport, date, number of tickets, class of tickets.
Facebook Business Tools is a platform which allows them to constantly track users, non users and also users that have logged out outside its platform.
App developers share data with Facebook through the Facebook Software Development Kit (SDK), a set of software development tools that help developers build apps for a specific operating system.
Later, Facebook has placed sole responsibility on the developers to ensure that they have a right to procure the user's data. They also said that in future changes like Clear History will help the users.

Meanwhile, The app creators and Facebook will have to take this matter quite seriously and resolve this before any controversies and EU fines.
