Vodafone launches Rs 139 prepaid plan with 5GB data, more details inside

Ever since Reliance Jio was introduced India’s richest business tycoon Mukesh Ambani, the Indian telecom sector has never been the same again. Other companies are leaving no stone unturned in surviving such competitive market and has been continuously reshuffling their prepaid packs.
Currently, India’s largest network in terms of subscribers Vodafone-Idea has introduced new prepaid plan of Rs 139. The new plan offers 5GB of high-speed data for a validity period of 28 days. It also offers unlimited voice calling facility and free live TV access via Vodafone Play app.
The new plan will be valid in selected circles only which includes Delhi/NCR, UP East, Rajasthan, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, Gujarat, and Andhra Pradesh.
Recently, Vodafone launched a long-term prepaid plan of Rs 999 for its subscribers in India. The plan will offer unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day along with 12GB of high-speed data for a validity period of 12 months, i.e. 365 days in total.
However, the prepaid plan has been launched in selected circles only and will be available to few subscribers. Currently, Vodafone subscribers in Punjab can recharge with the Rs 999 plan.
The Rs 999 prepaid plan is compatible for only those users who surf less videos and need internet services just to chat and send messages, as the plan coms with only 12GB of high-speed data for 12 months which is almost 1GB per month.
In competition, Airtel has Rs 998 prepaid plan which also offers 12GB of data, unlimited calling facility and 100 SMS per day along with free Airtel TV subscription. However, this plan is valid for only 36 days.
