WhatsApp launches verified accounts for businesses; All you need to know
After A Long Wait, WhatsApp Has Finally Come Up With The Verified Accounts For Businesses. This Feature Is Currently Available On The Android Beta Version.
After a long wait, WhatsApp has finally come up with the verified accounts for businesses. This feature is currently available on the Android beta version. With this new update, the company has finally added itself to the list of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram in having verified profiles.
The latest update will allow the users to communicate with verified businesses without any fear of getting duped.
The Facebook-owned WhatsApp in its FAQ post said that they have already verified some business accounts. A green badge with a white tick is the way one can check whether a particular account is verified or not.

In its post, the company said, "WhatsApp will also let you know when you start talking to a business via yellow messages inside a chat. There is no way to delete these messages from the chat. If you already have a business's phone number saved in your address book, the name you will see is the name you have saved in your address book.”
For instance, if the users are not having any business phone number in their address book, they will be able to see those in the suggestion list inside the app. Besides this, if the users don’t want to get bothered by the messages sent by these business verified accounts, they will get an option to block them.
