WhatsApp has become the most popular messaging app in the world and it is expected to add group calling feature so as to enhance online connectivity among users, reports website WABetaInfo.
According to WABetaInfo, the latest 2.17.70 beta release contains a lot of references to audio conference calling. Users will be able to add other WhatsApp users while being on an audio call with someone at the same time.
A line of code was found which suggested that if a user makes a voice call to someone on WhatsApp, the app will send a request to the server whether the person is busy or not.
Fewer yet similar references for the same have been found for video calling too.
So it is possible in the future that WhatsApp will include conference calling facility in the app.
