WhatsApp Is Working On A New Feature Called Chat Filter, As Per The Reports. The New Feature Is Set To Be Introduced To The WhatsApp Business App For Android. The Instant Messaging App Has Submitted The New Update Through Google Play Beta Programme.
WhatsApp is constantly growing with latest updates and new additions. The messaging service has been rolling out new features to keep the app engaging.
Now, the messaging service is working on a new feature called Chat filter, as per the reports. The new feature is set to be introduced to the WhatsApp Business app for Android. The instant messaging app has submitted the new update through Google Play Beta programme.
Users can quickly search messages using filters with this new features. It will help narrow the criteria to search old messages. Users can tap on the search option to find the filter icon. By tapping the filter icon, the options come as unread chats, Groups and Broadcast lists. By selecting it, users will be able to choose where WhatsApp has to search for the old messages.
As of now, the messaging application has kept the new feature disabled for some further developments and will be enabled soon. It is also not known whether the new feature will come to the standard application.
WhatsApp’s Business app has garnered over three million active users and is specifically available for Android users in several countries like, India, Italy, Britain, US, Indonesia and Mexico.
However, the company has already started developing an iOS version of the WhatsApp Business Platform.
