WhatsApp to launch 'standalone' business app; Details revealed
The Official Website Of WhatsApp Has Released FAQ Associated With The Business App In Which There Are Answers To Questions Related To The Business Accounts.
Instant messaging app, WhatsApp, will soon be rolling out a new ‘standalone’ app called WhatsApp Business.
The official website of WhatsApp has released FAQ associated with the business app in which there are answers to questions related to the business accounts.
The FAQ stated, “While chatting with businesses, you can check your contact's profile to see which type of account they're using. A verified account has a green checkmark badge in its profile.”
An account with a green checkmark badge in its profile is verified by the company as an authentic and business account.
The company also said, “A business account with a gray question mark badge in its profile means the account is using the WhatsApp Business app but hasn't been confirmed or verified by WhatsApp.”
According to the reports, the standalone app is going through various tests right now and will be launched in Asia soon.
The business app’s test partner, Google Play Store, stated, “As a test partner for 'WhatsApp Business', you have early access to a wide range of new features that we've built with you in mind. As you experiment with what this new app has to offer, please share your experiences with us so that we can improve the product.”
