Xiaomi is all set to launch the latest version of Note series on the occasion of Valentine’s Day, Redmi Note 5. But, as per the new teaser released, the company may have something more than the phone on the special day.
In the teaser video, the company hints of a mysterious device which is huge is size and doesn’t look like a smartphone. It is rumoured to be smart television ‘Mi TV’ which is already available in Mainland China market.
Last year, adding to its line-up of products, Xiaomi introduced Air Purifier in the Indian market which became a huge success. However, selling TV sets in India will be a huge shift in the company’s strategy.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi is already selling power banks, Air Purifiers, routers, speakers, boosters, fitness tracker, earphones and many more.
Talking about the upcoming smartphone, Redmi Note 5 will have a 5.99-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 2160x1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9.
The handset is powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor and is expected to be available in three variants – 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM along with 32GB/64GB/128GB of internal storage.
In terms of camera, the smartphone is expected to have a dual-camera setup at the rear of 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors. It will also sport a 8-megapixel selfie camera with 1080p video recording.
It is also expected to have a 4,100 mAh battery. Other feature includes Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi, microUSB and a fingerprint sensor at the back.
