The festivities of Durga Puja has gripped the 'City of Joy'. The streets are being light-up with variegated colours setting a perfect malieu for the biggest festival of the region. Different types of idols are being installed at nummerous pandals all across the state. This puja pandel, known for using splashy jewellery in the past has installed a goddess Durga idol made of 50 kg gold. Around 250 workers, who worked in day and night, completed Durga idol of gold in 3 months.
