Holika Dahan 2018: Muhurat, Bhadra Yog and what it means for you

India on Thursday celebrated Chhoti Holi or Holika Dahan, a spring festival that is a symbol of the triumph of good over evil. Holika Dahan is observed on the day of Purnima, full moon, of Falgun month, a day before Rangwali Holi or Dhulandi. This year’s Holika burning Muhurat was very auspicious and a rare coincidence of Purnima tithi (Date), Pradosham Kaal, a bimonthly occasion on the thirteenth day of every fortnight in Hindu calendar, that too without Bhadra Yog.
