The Supreme Court has rejected a review petition, filed by one of the four death row convicts in the Nirbhaya gang rape-and-murder case, saying there was no ‘error in the 2017 verdict’. “We find no grounds for review of 2017 verdict upholding death penalty of the convict,” the top court said. The verdict was delivered by a bench comprising of Justices R Banumathi, Ashok Bhushan and AS Bopanna. Watch full bulletin.
