Patna: Retired IG's daughter commits suicide a day before her marriage

Daughter of a retired Inspector General of Police (IGP) allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the terrace of a building in Patna on Sunday morning. The police have reportedly recovered a mobile phone from the spot and no suicide note has been found yet. The police are still trying to ascertain why she committed suicide. The woman's marriage was scheduled to take place on Monday with Kishanganj District Magistrate. She was a doctor by profession.
