PM Modi launches PM-KISAN scheme in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur on Sunday. He transferred the first installment of Rs 2,000 each to as many as 1 crore farmers as part of the Rs 75,000-crore scheme. Another 1 crore farmers are expected to be covered in the next two to three days.
