Question Hour: Kerala turns into war zone after 2 women entered Sabarimala

The Supreme Court's path breaking verdict allowing women of menstrual age group to worship at Sabarimala Temple was disowned at the Kerala shrine yet again on Wednesday. Soon after the news of two women sneaking into the Sabarimala temple spread, Kerala witnessed a string of protests with agitated right-wing activists blocking highways and forcing the closure of shops and markets. Apart from religion issues and prejudices, Sabarimala has also become a part of political agenda in the run up of Lok Sabha Elections 2019. While some Hindutva outfits have called for a dawn-to-dusk shutdown on Thursday, BJP and Yuva Morcha activists got engaged into a clash outside the state secretariat, injuring media personnel and several others. Watch News Nation's special coverage to know more details regarding the same.
