A couple was attacked by a duo of goons in Tamil Nadu. After being strangulated from behind, 72-year-old Shanmugavel, kept struggling and as soon as the hold on his neck went loose, he pounced upon one of the armed robbers and hurled almost everything what lied around him. After he raised his voice, his wife, Senthaamarai, who was inside the house, came rushing in and took on another masked robber. She managed to get her husband free of their clutches and then they together fought off the robbers.
