Question Hour: Many women in India divorced just because they could not give birth to sons

Around 25 women who were divorced via triple talaq volunteered to discussion on triple talaq. One woman complained that she after only a short time of her marriage she was abused and made to leave her husband’s home. When she filed case, her husband had submitted fake divorce papers in the court. The court told her that she wasn’t divorced according to law but local people told her that according to Shariat she was divorced.
