Farmer’s daughter Tanu Tomar tops UP Board class 12 exam, credits her success to THESE people

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) declared the UP Board Class 10 (High School) and UP Board Class 12 (Intermediate) results on 27 April, 2019 on its official website. This year, around 58 lakh students registered themselves for the Board exam. While Tanu Tomar of Baghpat has notched the first position in the UP Board Intermediate examination (class 12), Gautam Raghuvanshi of Kanpur has topped the class 10th board exams.
Tanu Tomar, daughter of a sugarcane farmer was a student of Shri Ram Shiksha Mandir Inter College in Baraut area of Baghpat district. Tomar has secured 97.80 percent scoring 489 marks out of 500. Her principal Rajesh Tomar told PTI, "She has not only bring honours to her family and the school but to the whole district.''

Tanu, who aspires to become a doctor, gave credit for her success to her family, teachers and the school principal. "My teachers never hesitated from helping me to clear my doubts even after the classes. I used to phone them to clear my doubts," she told reporters in Baghpat.
In Class 10 Boards, Tanu had scored 95 percent from a CBSE school. She then shifted to UP Board for Class 12 Boards after people challenged her to score similar result from a more difficult board. he topper among women in UPSC exam
