ICC Test Rankings: Usman Khawaja enters Top 10 after heroic innings, Prithvi Shaw makes roaring entry
Usman Khawaja’s brilliant, match-saving knock of 141 runs off 302 balls against Pakistan has given him an entry to the top 10 Test batsmen as he jumped nine spots to grab the 10th spot in the latest update of the ICC Test player rankings for batsmen.
Khawaja was a wall in front of the Pakistani bowlers in the first Test in Dubai as he scored 85 in the first innings and saved the match for Australia by playing a colossal knock of 141 which spanned nearly for nine hours.
However, there were no other changes above Khawaja’s ranking of 10 with Virat Kohli still being the No. 1 Test batsman with 936 points, after he scored his 24th Test ton in the first Test against West Indies.
