Indian Railways star studded women's team defeated Haryana in the finals to successfully defend their national title at the 64th Senior National Women Kabaddi Championship at Patliputra Sports Complex.
Railways had a lead over their opponents at half time score with the scoreline reading 13-8. Railways earned 1 bonus and 2 lona points, while Haryana bagged 2 bonus points during the 40-minute battle. Tejeshwini and Payal Chaudhury earned most of valuable points for the winners.
Payal Choudhury of Railways and Sakhshi Kumari of Haryana were awarded with best raider and the best defender trophy, respectively.
