After a lot of buzz around it, Xiaomi's Mi 5X is all set to hit the market on July 26. The Chinese handset maker confirmed the news after the phone's specifications and features had leaked online last week.
The Xiaomi Mi 5X will be launched in an event slated to be held in China. The phone will come with Android 7.0 Nougat-based MIUI 9.
Xiaomi has come up with a poster showing the rear-facing fingerprint scanner and the metal design of the device. The teaser contains an image showing dual rear camera setup along with a dual-LED flash module and a fingerprint scanner at the centre.
The Xiaomi Mi 5X will be equipped with a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display with dual 12MP + 12MP cameras on the back. According to a leaked poster, the Mi 5X will be powered by the Snapdragon 625 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage.
On the design part, it is likely to emulate the iPhone 7 Plus and come in Black, Gold, and Rose Gold colour options. The Xiaomi Mi 5X is rumoured to cost around CNY 1,999 or roughly Rs 19,000.

Earlier on Tuesday, Xiaomi launched its Xiaomi Mi Max 2 smartphone in India at Rs 16,999 for the 4GB RAM+64GB storage variant. The new Xiaomi Mi Max 2 comes with pre-loaded offers from Reliance Jio and the telco is offering additional 100 GB data to its buyers.
